Developer Blog - API Updates in Preservica 7.4

Preservica 7.4 is a Cloud-only release and is not a Long Term Support (LTS) release. These API changes will be made available to non-cloud environments with our next LTS release.

Authentication API

Use this API to manage authentication.

Changes since 7.3

• The POST endpoint /login will return the tenant display name if configured in the tenant's entitlement settings.

Authentication Management API

Use this API to manage authentication configuration.

New API endpoints since 7.4 (requires authentication):

• PUT /auth/trusted-urls/{id} updates a specific trusted url. Requires TenantManager permission, via a role: ROLE_SDB_ADMIN_USER, ROLE_SDB_MANAGER_USER.

Changes since 7.3

• The GET and POST endpoints for trusted urls will now return the id, url and an optionally configured post back location.

User API

Use this API to get user details and manage users.

Changes since 7.3

• The GET and PUT endpoints /details will return the tenant display name if configured in the tenant's entitlement settings.
